FAQ

  • Where do the lessons take place?

All lessons take place online through Zoom (you will receive a meeting link after booking).

  • What levels do you teach?

You may book for 11+ to A-level maths, any maths challenges or as a parent for a consultation and advice without checking in advance. For other work (e.g. university courses, A-level further maths modules) please e-mail kevin@mathsaurus.com and I will let you know if I am able to help.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

All bookings must be paid in full in advance. Lessons may not be cancelled after booking but can be rescheduled to another date with 24 hours notice.

  • Do you offer a free trial lesson?

There are no free trials, but you can take £10 off your first small group booking with the code FIRST10 and 20% off your first 1-1 lesson with the code FIRST20.

  • I have booked a lesson - how do I access it?

After booking you will receive all the details needed to access the Zoom lesson by e-mail or you can also see your bookings by logging in to the booking website (linked at the top of this page).

  • Do you teach other subjects?

No, I am a specialist maths tutor and only teach maths. I sometimes accept students who need maths or statistics to support other studies (eg degree students in business, economics, science etc.) but please check in advance if I can help by e-mailing kevin@mathsaurus.com

  • Are you free for a lesson right now?

Group lessons may be booked right up to their start time as long as there are still available places (see the booking website to check). For 1-1 lessons I usually need a little more notice - if a lesson is available on the calendar on the booking website you may book it, or get in touch at kevin@mathsaurus.com if you don't see any convenient times.
