Do you offer group lessons?
Aside from the lessons listed above I do not currently offer group lessons. All lessons booked here are for individual students (though a parent may be present for the lesson if desired). If you would like to arrange your own group and book a lesson for multiple students at once it may be possible, but please e-mail in advance.
Where do the lessons take place?
All lessons take place online through Zoom (you will receive a meeting link after booking).
What levels do you teach?
You may book for 11+ to A-level maths, any maths challenges or as a parent for a consultation and advice without checking in advance. For other work (e.g. university courses, A-level further maths modules) please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and I will let you know if I am able to help.
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings must be paid in full in advance - 48 hours notice is required for cancellation or amendment of lessons, otherwise the lesson will be charged in full.
Do you offer a free trial lesson?
No. All lessons must be paid for in full in advance using the links on this page.
I have booked a lesson - how do I access it?
After booking you will receive all the details needed to access the Zoom lesson by e-mail.
Do you teach other subjects?
No, I am a specialist maths tutor and only teach maths. I sometimes accept students who need maths or statistics to support other studies (eg degree students in business, economics, science etc.) but please check in advance if I can help by e-mailing email@example.com
What is your cancellation policy
Unless otherwise stated on the booking page all classes may be rescheduled or cancelled with 24 hours notice. After that they are not refundable.
Are you free for a lesson right now?
No, 24 hours notice is required for all 1-1 lessons. Group lessons may be booked as long as they are still available places (see the booking website to check).
I am currently offering small group lessons to prepare for the Junior Kangaroo (aimed at very able 11-13 year olds) which can be booked through the booking system here.
