Dr Kevin Olding

Kevin Olding is an experienced teacher and tutor, having worked for 7 years at two leading independent schools in London, and for over a decade as a private tutor. He holds a First Class MMATH Mathematics degree from Magdalen College, Oxford and a PhD from the University of Bath, as well as an MSc in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck, University of London (Distinction and prize for best overall performace), an MRes in Statistical Applied Mathematics from the University of Bath, as well as a degree in Law. He is also the creator of the Mathsaurus YouTube channel, which has tens of thousands of subscribers and millions of video views. His online courses at courses.mathsaurus.com have been taken by over 23,000 students, covering challenge and school maths for ages 7-18+.

All lessons take place online through Zoom (you will receive a meeting link after booking).
You may book for 11+ to A-level maths, any maths challenges or as a parent for a consultation and advice without checking in advance. For other work (e.g. university courses, A-level further maths modules) please e-mail [email protected] and I will let you know if I am able to help.
All bookings must be paid in full in advance. Lessons may not be cancelled after booking but can be rescheduled to another date with 24 hours notice.
There are no free trials, but you can take 20% off your first 1-1 lesson with the code FIRST20.
After booking you will receive all the details needed to access the Zoom lesson by e-mail or you can also see your bookings by logging in to the booking website (linked at the top of this page).
No, I am a specialist maths tutor and only teach maths. I sometimes accept students who need maths or statistics to support other studies (eg degree students in business, economics, science etc.) but please check in advance if I can help by e-mailing [email protected]
