Intermediate Kangaroos and Olympiads (Ages 13-16)

and similar maths challenges for the most advanced students aged 13-16 around the world.

What are the Intermediate Kangaroos and Olympiads?

The Intermediate Kangaroos and Olympiads are follow-on rounds to the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge. Students who have done very well in the IMC will be invited to take part in either the Grey or Pink Kangaroos or the Cayley, Hamilton or Maclaurin Olympiads depending on their age. Students who don't qualify automatically can also make discretionary entries.

This video gives an overview of all UKMT maths challenges and how the follow-on rounds fit in. You can also view pages here with past papers, boundaries and information about discretionary entries.
