Prepare for the Junior Kangaroo and Olympiad

Booking for 2024 classes available now

These short courses are aimed at students preparing for the UKMT Junior Kangaroo and Olympiad rounds. These are follow on rounds from the Junior Maths Challenge for advanced students in this age group.

The video below talks about the 2023 classes. The arrangements in 2024 are slightly different and the Olympiad classes now offer a 'regular' and 'advanced' option.

The Regular option will be aimed at students taking the Olympiad for the first time. The advanced option will focus mostly on the harder section B problems.

Students may want to attend more than one set of classes (eg Kangaroo and Regular or Regular and Advanced) but should only register for one of each as the content will be the same across each type of class.

  • Kangaroo course: 4 x 45 minute lessons, either at 1pm daily Tues-Fri during half term (28th-31st May) or on Saturday at 1pm (1st, 8th June) and Monday at 6pm (3rd, 10th June) - £149
  • Olympiad course: There is a regular track and and advanced track. Students are welcome to register for either or both.
  • Regular Track: 4 x 45 minute lessons, either at 10am daily Tues-Fri during half term (28th-31st May) or as 2 double lessons 10-1145 on Saturdays 1st, 8th June. £179
  • Advanced Track: 4 x 45 minute lessons, either at 11am daily Tues-Fri during half term (28th-31st May) or as 2 double lessons 3-445pm on Saturdays 1st, 8th June. £179

After booking you will receive a confirmation e-mail as well as links to the Zoom meetings for the lessons

Refunds will only be given only if courses are full and another student can be found to take the reserved place. If the same course is being offered at multiple times switching between these will not be possible once the courses have started.

I reserve the right to cancel classes where there is insufficient demand to run a group class - in this case full refunds will be given.

Classes are not recorded and permission to make recordings is not given.
