Live Online Courses for the Junior Maths Challenge

For ages 11-13 and enthusiastic younger students

If you're taking the Junior Maths Challenge this year, then take this 5-lesson course to prepare.

Typical students taking the JMC will be aged 11-13, but enthusiastic younger students are also welcome to attend.

There are Regular and Advanced courses available.

We'll cover all of the most important topics for the JMC and practise on original questions not available elsewhere.

These classes will be taught by Kevin via Zoom.  Links to join will be e-mailed after you've signed up and sent 24 hours and again 1 hour before each class.

For details of dates and times see booking buttons below.

Price: £179 for 5x45 minute classes.

These courses will repeat the same content on different dates, so please only sign up to one regular and one advanced session.

If you attended last year: There will be some minor changes but the course will be very similar to the course offered last year.

Mathsaurus also offers regular challenge classes at this level that complement this course well and will continue through the year.

Choose from two types of class

Regular

Although less challenging than the 'advanced' track, the classes here are still targeted at relatively strong students who are looking to do well in the Junior Maths Challenge and improve their problem-solving skills.

The problems in these classes will be pitched mostly at students aiming for Silver and Gold and possibly looking to qualify for the follow-on Kangaroo and Olympiad rounds.

Advanced

Aimed mostly at problems that could come up in Q21-25 of the Junior Maths Challenge, the advanced track is most suitable for students aiming to qualify for the JMO, who have already taken the regular course or have significant experience of challenge style problems.
