I studied Maths at Magdalen College, Oxford and have a PhD in Maths from the University of Bath so you can be sure that the maths you do in this course will also prepare you for maths beyond 11+.

Over 1000 original questions at just the right level
To create this course, I worked through a huge number of real 11+ papers to make sure the course will prepare you thoroughly for any 11+ exam.
I then wrote over 1000 original questions on these topics, testing them out on my own 1-1 and small group tuition students to make sure they have just the right level of challenge for students at this level.
Level 1: Foundational Topics
You'll learn about arithmetic, including BIDMAS, fractions, ratios, decimals, and percentages. There are sections about `related calculations' and sequences as well as work on prime numbers and factors.
You'll finish Level 1 being able to tackle a significant proportion of most 11+ Maths Papers well.
Level 2: Core Topics
There's work on shape and space, speed, distance and time, data presentation, a little algebra and much more.
After Level 2 you'll be able to tackle almost all of the core types of problems that come up on 11+ Maths Papers.
Level 3: Advanced and Scholarship
Here you'll test out what you've learnt on a range of the hardest types of 11+ Maths Problems and get you ready to solve problems you haven't seen before.
There are logic and timetable problems, and some harder problem-solving questions with number towers and novel operations. There are sections about taps and rates, systematic listing, counting and much more.
You'll finish Level 3 with a real mastery of 11+ maths and be ready for the most challenging scholarship-level papers.
The Price of Success
Over the years demand for my 1-1 tuition has increased significantly, and my prices are now over £300 per hour for individual lessons.
This course contains over 100 lessons and most experienced 11+ tutors charge at least £100-£150 per hour, so if they could get through one lesson per hour that would cost at least £100 x £100 = £10,000.
In reality, students often need even more time than this, especially to master the most demanding parts, and often need to revisit lessons more than once. If you wanted to work with me 1-1, that could cost closer to £30,000 over the course of a year.
For those with significant resources, this can still represent great value, but as I received more enquiries about tuition I made this course partly out of frustration that I wasn't able to offer my advice and teaching to families in a more affordable way.
